Love and Fireworks
Jack has a new gal pal. Minnie wrote a little ditty about them...
The Jack
Everyday Jack is a classic.
Everyday Jack is a classic.
But when Jack meets Brooke his eyes turn to hearts.
Jack has a mate.
We had a fantastic 4th of July weekend. The Matsumori family came for the weekend.
We had a wonderful time with them...the beach, swimming, fireworks, good food and good conversation...J even managed to stay up after midnight twice!
Maurice, the Pied-Piper of small children, had the kids under his spell within 30 seconds of meeting them. Adam has been threatening to call him all day. Good times.

Our Cousins to the East
We crossed the desert last week. The kids were great travellers. We had an incident with a rock on Dead Cow Rd. (at least that is our name for it...you can guess why). We now have a shiny new windshield! We also came across a not-so-street-smart lizard. It didn't end well...for the lizard. I also fear for the suicidal gopher that crossed our path.
We pretty much ate (I gained approximately 12 lbs...no, kidding) and swam. My kids still smell like chlorine and Popsicles. The cousins danced, bounced, played and tormented each other all week. Jack tagged along and his love for Hannah was rekindled.
Thanks Wilson family. Now it's back to real life. We miss you already.

Buzz Off
An annual tradition continues...The Great (and it was) Summer Buzz Off for the Bird and Wimmer Boys (Jack, the hippie, was not included). Now we just need to burn the lunch boxes and our summer of fun can begin!

In a Nut Shell
Because the public is demanding to know...drum roll please...here are a few of the things we have been up to....
Dances at the school...think Prom...only more fun...

A trip to AZ for Mitch's baptism and Nielsen's (of course)...
Some water acrobatics...
Lastly, a little "Buggy" performance...seriously...we think Adam Ant may have a future in musical theater. The kid just oozes enthusiasm!
